MLANGENI HOLIDAY RESORT provides a host of leisure time amenities including a dance hall where guests can sizzle their nights away at Mulangeni resident band and disco music. Guests can also dazzle their days away at perhaps the largest and splendid swimming pool on the lake shore with a separate children's swimming pool.
Mulangeni Holiday Resort offers baby sitting facilities. It also has well designed secluded grounds for sun-tanning for those who would like to bathe in the sun.

For those who want to get away from the land, we have our own boat to take you to any place of your choice, like the only Lake National Park in the world in 20 minutes - the Lake Malawi National Park which includes one of the most spectacular nature in a nutshel - the majestic Boadzulu Island - home to a million birds.

Dr David Livingstone African Night in the Camping Village

Legend has it that when Dr. David Livingstone "discovered" Lake Nyasa in 1895, he camped at our site. Dr. Livingstone spent some of the finest African Nights camping here.
We capitalized on this to make your dream come true. Today, the MHR boasts of the largest camping village in Malawi.
The village is composed of twenty-four tents - all well-ventilated and with electricity. Sixteen tents of superior quality have twin beds and other eight are fitted with double three quarter beds. All other apliances are available outside within the camp.

Conference Facilities

The focal point of the resort is the magnificient building facing Lake Malawi. The houses, the kitchen, the enticing main restaurant that boasts of the exclusive chambo fish - fresh from the lake -- perhaps the testiest fish in the world; the cocktail bar, shops, and a conference center which can accommodate up to 150 guests. The Mlangeni Hiliday Resort conference Center boasts, so far, the only conference center on the shores of Lake Malawi equipped with an efficient built-in public address system.
